Allowable Tuition Rates for Proposals

The Summer tuition rates are base on five (5) credit hours.

This table represents the amount of tuition to be included in a grant proposal where the tuition is an allowable cost by the sponsor. It is supported by a memo from the Controller's Office, July, 2013. "The attached document provides a recap of the Federal regulations relating to the allowability of charging graduate scholarships and fees to sponsored funding." [1-page PDF]

** This table is based on the actual rates for Academic Year (AY) Summer 2015 - Spring 2016 (provided by the Office of the Registrar). All future AY's are increased by 4.20%. This table and the percentages will be updated each year after the tuition increase has been approved.

Effective July 1, 2016 (FY17)    
10 Hours 1/4 time $950 to $2400
20 Hours 1/2 time $1900 to $4800
30 Hours 3/4 time $2850 to $7200
     
Effective July 1, 2017 (FY18)    
10 Hours 1/4 time $1,000 to $2600
20 Hours 1/2 time $2,000 to $5200
30 Hours 3/4 time $3,000 to $7800
   
Effective July 1, 2018 (FY19):    
10 Hours1/4 time$1,050 to $2,800
20 Hours1/2 time$2,100 to $5,600
30 Hours3/4 time$3,150 to $8,400
